ງານຕະຫຼາດນັດນະວັດຕະກຳກະສິກຳ ແລະ ການສົນທະນາ ວັນທີ 30 ພຶດສະພາ – 02 ມິຖຸນາ 2022, ວິທະຍາເຂດສະຖາບັນຄົ້ນຄວ້າກະສິກຳ ແລະ ປ່າໄມ້ແຫ່ງຊາດ

ໃນວັນທີ 30 ພຶດສະພາ 2022 ທີ່ນະຄອນຫຼວງວຽງຈັນ, ອົງການອາຫານ ແລະ ການກະເສດ ແຫ່ງ ສະຫະປະຊາຊາດ (FAO) ຮ່ວມມືກັບ ສະຖາບັນຄົ້ນຄວ້າກະສິກຳ, ປ່າໄມ້ ແລະ ພັດທະນາຊົນນະບົດ (NAFRI) ໄດ້ເປີດງານຕະຫຼາດນັດນະວັດຕະກຳກະສິກຳ ທີ່ຈະດຳເນີນເປັນເວລາ 4 ວັນ, ເຊີ່ງຈະມີການໂອ້ລົມສົນທະນາ ແລະ ການນໍາສະເຫນີ ຫຼາຍຫົວຂໍ້. ນະວັດຕະກໍາກະສິກຳມີທ່າແຮງອັນໃຫຍ່ຫຼວງໃນ ສປປ ລາວ ເພື່ອເພີ່ມລາຍຮັບຂອງຊາວກະສິກອນ, ປັບປຸງຄ້ຳປະກັນສະບຽງອາຫານ ແລະ ໂພຊະນາການ ແລະ ຊ່ວຍໃຫ້ການຄຸ້ມຄອງຊັບພະຍາກອນທຳມະຊາດແບບຍືນຍົງ. ດັ່ງນັ້ນ, ຈຸດປະສົງຂອງງານແມ່ນ ເພື່ອເປັນເວທີທີ່ຍົກໃຫ້ເຫັນ ແລະ ແລກປ່ຽນຄໍາຄິດເຫັນ ແລະ ອໍານວຍຄວາມສະດວກໃຫ້ແກ່ການພົວພັນຄູ່ຮ່ວມມື ລະຫວ່າງ ບັນດາພາກສ່ວນທີ່ກ່ຽວຂ້ອງ ນັບແຕ່ຊາວກະສິກອນເຖິງນັກລົງທຶນ ແລະ ຜູ້ວາງນະໂຍບາຍ ເພື່ອສົ່ງເສີມການປະດິດສ້າງ/ນະວັດຕະກຳ ກະສິກໍາ.

ງານຕະຫຼາດນັດຈະດຳເນີນເປັນເວລາ 4 ວັນເຕັມແຕ່ວັນທີ 30 ພຶດສະພາ ຫາ ວັນທີ 2 ມິຖຸນາ, ໂດຍມີພາກສ່ວນກ່ຽວຂ້ອງເຖິງນະວັດຕະກໍາກະສິກຳ ກວ່າ 50 ພາກສ່ວນ, ເປັນຕົ້ນແມ່ນຜູ້ຜະລິດກະສິກຳ, ຜູ້ສະໜອງປັດໃຈກະສິກຳ ແລະ ບັນດານັກທຸລະກິດກະສິກຳຈາກທົ່ວປະເທດ ເຂົ້າຮ່ວມວາງສະແດງ ແລະ ຂາຍສິນຄ້າ. ນີ້ແມ່ນໂອກາດອັນລ້ຳຄ່າ ເພື່ອນຳບັນດາກຸ່ມຊາວກະສິກອນ ແລະ ສະມາຄົມ, ຊາວກະສິກອນຂະໜາດນ້ອຍ ແລະ ບັນດາວິສາຫະກິດກະສິກຳເຂົ້າໃກ້ຜູ້ບໍລິໂພກ. ງານວາງສະແດງຈະມີຮ້ານວາງສະແດງນະວັດຕະກຳກະສິກຳທຸກປະເພດ, ລວມທັງຜະລິດຕະພັນ ແລະ ການບໍລິການ ແລະ ໃຫ້ມີການປຶກສາຫາລື ກ່ຽວກັບ ການຮ່ວມມືທີ່ມີທ່າແຮງ ລະຫວ່າງ ບັນດາພາກສ່ວນກ່ຽວຂ້ອງ. ງານຕະຫຼາດນັດເປີດກວ້າງໃຫ້ບຸກຄົນທົ່ວໄປເຂົ້າຮ່ວມ.

ໃນຂະນະດຽວກັນກັບງານຕະຫຼາດນັດ, NAFRI ຍັງຈະເປັນເຈົ້າພາບຈັດລາຍການນຳສະເໜີ ແລະ ໂອ້ລົມສົນທະນາ ໂດຍເນັ້ນໃສ່ການຄົ້ນຄວ້າ ແລະ ພັດທະນານະວັດຕະກຳກະສິກຳ ແລະ ການພັດທະນາຂີດຄວາມສາມາດ. ການສົນທະນາຄັ້ງທຳອິດ ລວມມີບັນດາຄະນະນຳຈາກຫຼາຍພາກສ່ວນກົມທີ່ກ່ຽວຂ້ອງຂອງລັດຖະບານ, ພາກເອກະຊົນ ແລະ ອົງການຈັດຕັ້ງຊາວກະສິກອນ ເພື່ອແລກປ່ຽນທັດສະນະ ແລະ ປຶກສາຫາລື ກ່ຽວກັບ ວິທີການປັບປຸງນະວັດຕະກຳກະສິກຳຢູ່ ສປປ ລາວ. ການນຳສະເໜີ ແລະ ການສົນທະນາຄັ້ງທີ 2 ແມ່ນແນໃສ່ໃຫ້ຊາວກະສິກອນໜຸ່ມ, ນັກຄົ້ນຄວ້າ, ນັກສຶກສາ ແລະ ຜູ້ປະກອບການ ມີໂອກາດໄດ້ສະເໜີບົດເລື່ອງ ແລະ ສິ່ງທ້າທາຍໃນນະວັດຕະກຳກະສິກຳໃຫ້ແກ່ຜູ້ວາງນະໂຍບາຍ. ການໂຕ້ວາທີ ຂອງ ນັກສຶກສາ ແລະ ການແຂ່ງຂັນ ກ່ຽວກັບ “ວິໄສທັດຂອງພວກເຮົາສໍາລັບການປະດິດສ້າງກະສິກໍາ” ຍັງເປັນຈຸດເດັ່ນຂອງກິດຈະກໍານີ້.

Agricultural Innovation Market Fair and Panel Discussions

Vientiane, 30 May 2022 – The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in collaboration with the National Agriculture and Forestry Research Institute (NAFRI) opened a four-day agriculture innovation fair today that will also include a series of panel discussions and presentations. Agricultural innovation has a huge potential in Lao PDR to increase farmer incomes, improve food and nutrition security and allow for sustainable management of natural resources. Thus, the aim of the event is to provide a platform to highlight and exchange ideas and facilitate partnerships between diverse stakeholders ranging from farmers to investors and policy makers to promote agricultural innovation.

The market fair will take place for the full four days from 30 May to 2 June, featuring over 50 relevant stakeholders involving in agriculture innovation, including agricultural producers, input suppliers and other agribusinesses from across the country displaying and selling their products. This is a valuable opportunity to bring farmer groups and associations, smallholder farmers and agri-entrepreneurs closer to consumers. The fair will have booths where agricultural innovations of all kinds, including products and services can be showcased and allow for discussion around potential collaborations between different stakeholders. The market fair is open to the public to attend.

At the same time as the market fair, NAFRI will also host a series of presentations and panel discussions with a focus on research and development in agricultural innovation and capacity development. The first discussion includes panelists from a number of government departments, the private sector and farmer organizations to share views and discuss ways to improve agricultural innovation in Lao PDR. The second presentation and panel discussion aims to provide young farmers, researchers, students and entrepreneurs an opportunity to outline their stories and challenges in agricultural innovation to policymakers. A student debate and contest on ‘Our vision for agricultural innovation’ is also a highlight of this activity.

On the final day of the event (2 June), NAFRI will chair a seminar presenting research results in the areas of agriculture, forestry and rural development. All presentation and panel discussions and seminar are open to public.
